Founded in 2020, by Benoit Pagotto, Chris Le and Steven Vasilev, RTFKT is a pioneering and innovative brand that redefines the boundaries of physical and digital value to serve their broad community of creators. This dedicated team leverages the latest in game engines, NFTs, blockchain authentication and augmented reality to create one of a kind virtual products and experiences.
RTFKT's successful avatar project CLONEX in partnership with Takashi Murakami saw the WEB3 startup skyrocket to success using the resources and production capabilities of the sportswear giant releasing a host of physical items using RFID and AR technologies on the physical items.
What is the Clone X Collection?
Clone X is an NFT collection of 20,000 unique avatars with randomly combined traits, each one belonging to one of eight subtypes, or “DNA types”: Human, Robot, Angel, Demon, Reptile, Undead, Murakami and Alien. They can be used across Metaverse platforms, AR filters, and even virtual meetings.
Owners can unlock their 3D files in a dedicated section of the Clone X website. Holders can also use their avatars to create merchandise, mint fan art NFTs, model, make music and videos, create brands, businesses, and much more.

RTFKT unlocks CloneX FORGING SEASON 1 [7-14 September 2022]
The phygital (physical and digital) collection was unlocked by the NFT avatar allowing users to order merch tied to their avatar´s DNA. There are more than 10 unique total sets and over 60 individual items.
