Since the last epic collaboration with the NBA All Star Weekend, Virgil Abloh is back with another Jumpman collaboration, and this time it's the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 White. First spotted during his Figures Of Speech exhibition at MCA Chicago last year, it made a re-appearance during the American fashion designer's Fall Winter 2020 runway showcase. Unlike Virgil Abloh's AJ5 which made its debut at Men's Paris Fashion Week in January, and the Off-white x Air Jordan 4 is hands down one of the cleanest Swoosh collaborations the Louis Vuitton's artistic director ever worked on with the Jordan brand, keeping the shoe quite true to Tinker Hatfield's original design.
Painted in a clean cream palette, the AJ4 is decked out some of the finest materials around including fine leather across the upper complete with visible stitching for a sartorial finish and a dash of suede across the toe box for a premium look and feel. Like the classic Jordan IV sneaker, mesh panels feature across the lateral and medial side panels, but this is also paired with see-through rubber elements for a deconstructed vibe that we all know and love. This extends towards the heel badge which is present with Nike branding - just like the OG.
Down below, you'll find an Air infused midsole for an insane amount of comfort both on and off the court, and this is embellished with "AIR" at the heel - something that we sorely missed with Abloh's AJ5 drop earlier this year. Rounding it all off is a complementary cream zip tag, finalising the design.
