The Jordan 1 Retro High OG Lucky Green is the latest new colorway of the legendary Air Jordan 1 silhouette to see a release. The AJ1 was the first ever signature shoe for Michael Jordan. Designed by Peter Moore, Jordan Brand launched it in 1985 in high, low and mid-top variations. Ever since it’s been one of the most popular sneakers of all time. We've got a detailed look right here, so read on for more!
The Lucky Green colorway is one that has a familiar feel to it, perhaps due to the similarities it holds with one of the most highly-coveted Nike Dunk colorways, known as the “Heineken Dunks”, with the nickname paying homage to a certain Dutch lager beer. Nike’s signature black Swooshes is present across both sides of the sneakers, while additional branding such as the Nike Air logo, Nike Swoosh and wings logo appear in red, contrasting the green overlays and white leather panels. The classic color blocking gives these a retro feel throughout that we're absolutely loving!
Beneath the feet, Nike’s chunky white midsole unit is present, concealing Nike Air technology that makes these one of the most comfortable pairs on the market even all these years later. A rubber outsole ensures that these are also ultra durable! If you’re looking for a stylish pair of everyday steppers, these are about as good as it gets!
