Converse Chuck Taylor Fear of God "Black"
The Fear of God x Converse Chuck 70 Hi Black is the latest collaborative silhouette to release between Nike’s sister brand and Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God ESSENTIALS line. The pair have previously released Chuck’s and garnered the attention of sneakerheads across the globe due to Jerry’s signature stripped back aesthetic.
The duo have been working together since the start of Fear of God’s relationship with Nike, which has conceived multiple high-heat releases over the years. The iconic Chuck 70 high top is the silhouette of choice here, with Jerry dressing the pair in a clean blacked-out rendition, showcasing an ivory-white tongue to create a unique two-tone look. Another notable feature is the lace loop located on the heel, allowing the wearer to lace the shoes around the ankle to create a high-end fashion look!
Beneath the feet a classic white midsole appears, concealing Converse’s recently rejuvenated cushioning technology that’s closely modelled on Nike’s Zoom soles. Branding is kept to a minimum with an ESSENTIALS logo embossed on the heel tab on the left shoe.
